Unique Double Braid Trick

This is a simple and easy alternative to getting that chic double braided look! It looks super cool and there is no need for any bobby pins or other hair tools. Here’s how to do the unique double braided hair trick and create a beautiful boho chic style:

  • Give your hair a good brushing to ensure there are no tangles with your Leyla Milani Hair Miracle Brush. Then split your hair into 2 equal sections. Create a regular 3-strand braid on the side of the left section and secure with a clear hair elastic. Next, start pulling small sections of the braid to create a little “hook” opening – do this on one side of the braid. Note: if you are wearing extensions, be careful when you reach the areas where it’s longer than your own hair, so as not to cause ends to stick out. The idea is to create a small opening that you can use later for the trick! Next, on the opposite side of the braid, gently pull on sections to fan out the braid, without creating a hook opening.

  • On the remaining section of your hair, start by creating a 3-strand braid. Once you’ve braided it once, you are going to take the left section and weave it through the hook that you’ve previously created and continue braiding normally. When you have the left section again, weave it through another hook. Now you don’t have to use every hook, this is optional. Continue this method all the way to the end of the braid.

  • Once you get to the bottom of the braid, secure the end with a clear hair elastic. Then, taking another hair elastic, you’re going to secure both braids together so that it appears to be one big double braid. The final step of this braid is to go back in and fan out any more sections of the braid that you desire in order to make it a bit bigger. And there you have it – a unique take on the double braid!
