1.What is Leyla Milani Hair?

2. How do I wear Leyla Milani Hair extensions?

Leyla Milani Hair extensions are completely do-it-yourself and can be applied in a matter of minutes. You simply clip the individual hair pieces or wefts (as they're often referred to) into your hair–one by one and then release your own hair over it to cover. 3. Is Leyla Milani Hair real human hair?

Yes. Leyla Milani hair is made from 100% Remy human hair. The best type of human hair available. With Remy hair, only the finest virgin and untreated hair is used. The hair differs from the garden-variety normal "silky" hair that is currently available elsewhere in that every strand is hand-picked and lined up so that all the cuticles of the hair is facing the same direction which causes less tangling and a longer lasting product.

4. How many different colors do the extensions come in?

Leyla Milani Hair extensions now come in 17 different colors. 12 solid colors ranging from jet black to platinum blonde and 5 highlighted colors as well as ombre. Click here to see all the colors that are available!

5. How long are the extensions?

Leyla Milani Hair extensions are available in a full-head set of 7 pieces/wefts that come in two different lengths; 20″ or 24" long.  All Leyla Milani Hair extensions come in a silky straight texture which can be curled, cut, colored and heat-styled since it's made of 100% real human hair.

6. How much does the hair weigh?

Our 20" sets are 160 grams (6 oz.) and our 24" sets are 200 grams (7 oz.)

7. How do I care for my Leyla Milani Hair extensions?

We suggest using a mild shampoo and conditioner (sulfate-free ones work best) to wash your extensions. You don't need to wash it as frequently as your own hair; just when you feel it needs it. Do not brush your Leyla Milani Hair when it's wet and be gentle when washing. You can use a wide-tooth comb to brush it out or use your fingers. Do not sleep in or swim with your Leyla Milani Hair attached as it can cause tangling and damage. Once dry, style as desired.

8. How are the clips attached to the hair?

All of our clips are perfectly matched to each hair color. They are securely sewn on top of a fine lace trim which is also color matched to the hair and this holds the hair and clips together. There is also a fine, silicone strip on the clip which securely holds the extensions in place. Because we take special measure to match the clips to each hair color, your Leyla Milani Hair is virtually undetectable in your hair. Other companies simply sew the clips (which usually come in a standard silver metal color) along the weft of the hair. This makes the hair bulky and uncomfortable to wear–especially after long periods of time. With Leyla Milani Hair, you simply clip the individual pieces into your hair and release your own hair over it to cover and then style as desired.

9. Can I use hot styling tools like curling irons and flat irons on my Leyla Milani Hair?

Absolutely! Leyla Milani Hair is 100% human hair; just like your own! You can cut it, color it, curl it, flat iron it, and blow-dry it just like your own hair. You can even use your favorite styling products on it.

10. Can I sleep or swim with my Leyla Milani Hair on?

It is not recommended to sleep or swim with your your Leyla Milani Hair extensions attached. Leyla Milani Hair is designed to be low maintenance so that you can put them in and take them off quickly and easily. To make your hair extensions truly last , do not sleep, swim or shower with them attached.

11. Can I color my Leyla Milani Hair if it doesn't match my own hair perfectly?

Absolutely! Unlike cheap synthetic hair extensions that cannot be styled or colored (plus it looks like "doll hair" next to yours), Leyla Milani Hair is made from 100% natural, human hair.. You can color, tone and highlight it to match your own hair perfectly but it is recommended to only go up one or two shades and take it to a professional colorist to avoid damage.

12. How much does shipping cost?

We use USPS and UPS as our preferred shipping carrier for all domestic (US) and international orders. Right now, we're offering FREE GROUND SHIPPING on all orders over $200 within the continental US which includes Delivery Confirmation. Delivery time is estimated between 1-7 business days. If your order is less than $200 we will ship your package via USPS at the calculated rate, and also includes Delivery Confirmation. All international shipping rates will be calculated during check out and take 5-15 BUSINESS days (some regions can take longer), depending on what shipping option you select, plus some additional time depending on the customs office. Please contact your local customs office for details as this varies per region. NOTE: You are responsible for any fees (duties and taxes included) that your country/customspost office charges you.

13. What is your return and/or exchange policy?


Uh oh! Something not to your satisfaction? No worries gorgeous, we are here to help!

We gladly accept returns and/or exchanges for qualifying products within 30 days from the delivery date with a Return Authorization Number (RA#).  All products must be in sell-able condition and not damaged and/or tampered with.

HOW TO OBTAIN AN RA#: Go to before 30 days of your delivery date. Click on the “Return/Exchange Policy” tab at the bottom of the Home Page. In the Order Look Up Section, enter your Order# and Email Address. You will then select the eligible product(s) from your order that you would like to return. Follow the prompted instructions and click “submit”. Once we retrieve your return/exchange submission through our website, you will receive an email with an RA# and further instructions on how to proceed.

All returns/exchanges are subject to approval and must meet our Return Policy standards and guidelines. All unauthorized returns including those without an RA# will be sent back to you. Customers are responsible for shipping and handling costs. It is recommended to send your item(s) back with a tracking number as we are not responsible for lost packages.

We gladly accept returns and/or exchanges on un-opened and un-used hair extensions within 30 days from the delivery date with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Broken clips are NOT considered defective as there are two extra clips included with each set of hair extensions. Hair extensions are attached to a white paper backing with a special gold twist tie or black plastic band and then inserted into the blue, exterior box. Because our extensions are a real human hair product, for health concerns and sanitary purposes, we cannot accept returns on used or opened hair. As long as you do NOT open that gold twist tie or black band that is holding the hair and the white paper backing together, we will gladly accept the product back for a refund. Once you remove the hair from the white insert and open the gold or black band, and release the hair, we consider the product used. There are no exceptions to this policy.  Hair extensions can be colored however we highly recommend consulting with a hair stylist specializing in hair extensions. Hair extensions cannot be permed whatsoever. Please note coloring or altering your extensions are completely at your own risk.

14. How do I pick the correct color?

All of our hair extension colors are multi-tonal which means they should blend in naturally with your own hair as long as you choose a color in the same family. Start by choosing the color that is closest to your own shade. For example if your hair is on the darker side, you would look at colors #1, #1B, #2, #4 or some of our dark highlighted colors. If you're on the blonder side, you would look at colors #18, #22, #60 or some of our lighter highlighted colors. On our website, we try our best to show our colors as accurately as possible but of course pictures can sometimes be deceiving; especially when looking at them on different computer screens. So, if you're still not sure, you can always email us a few high resolution photos of yourself showing your hair and we will do our best in helping you choose the right color. You can also purchase one of our color rings which features all 17 various shades and highlights we carry. You can then choose your perfect color right in the comfort of your home and be confident when placing your order.

Yes,we proudly offer international shipping through our preferred shipping carrier, USPS.

You will be provided with a shipping tracking # for your convenience.  Important: If selecting First Class, your tracking # may or may not update once the package has entered your country. It will be your responsibility to contact your local post office to get more information, including expected delivery date, etc. if the tracking # has not updated.

18. How long will my Leyla Milani Hair extensions last?

Customers have reported that they have used the same set purchased for up to a year but how long your extensions will last depends on how often you wear and style it. Remember, the better you take care of your extensions, the longer it will last. Treat your Leyla Milani Hair like an investment. Leyla Milani Hair lasts anywhere from 3 months to a year depending on use. Please see our care instructions under questions #7.

19. Where does the hair come from?

Leyla Milani Hair is derived from premium, Asian Remy hair.

20. How long does shipping usually take?

All orders are processed and sent within 24-48 business day hours of receiving the order unless purchased during a sale/holiday etc., which then will take additional business days for orders to be processed. All domestic and international orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. Domestic shipments can take from 1-7 business days to deliver. All international orders generally take 5-15 business days (some regions could take longer), plus some additional time depending on the Customs Office. Please contact you local customs office for details as this varies per region.

21. I placed my order online...Now what?

Once an order is placed through our website and the order is processed, an email will be sent to the email address provided on the order confirming your order was received and a tracking number will also be provided for your reference.
