5 Quick Workout Hairstyles
When you’re hitting the gym or engaging in any fitness routine, you want to secure your hair out of the way in the best way possible but also in the best-looking way possible. Here are 5 workout hairstyles that will allow you to bust out a killer sweat and still have you looking effortlessly fabulous.
- Braided Ponytail
Take a small section of hair from the front of your head and doing a regular 3-strand braid, angle it backward, then secure with a clip. Do the same on the other side. Once the braids are finished go ahead and loosen them a bit and then secure with a clear elastic. Last, pull the rest of your hair up into a cute ponytail!
- Jasmine Pony
Pull your hair back in a high ponytail and add on bauble elastics all the way down to the end of the pony to the nape of your neck. Loosen the hair a bit from each elastic to add some dimension and off to yoga you go!
- French Braided Messy Bun
Create a French braid down to the nape of your neck from one side and then secure it off to the same side. Tie with a thick elastic instead of securing with bobby pins (which will tend to fall out during strenuous activity). Twist the remaining hair and grab the messy bun you’ve know created and re-tuck it into the elastic – this will make it even more cute workout-worthy.
- Braided Pigtails
Divide your hair in half and create two 3-strand braids and secure with a clear elastic on both sides. Secure each braid at the base of your head and wrap the braid around each base, again securing with a clear elastic. Fun and different!
- Boxer Braids
Takes more time because you’re French braiding all your hair, but keeps your hair completely out of face! Divide the hair into two, French braid both sides down to the nape of your neck. Next, remove the duckbill clip and then combine the two braids so that you are now braiding a single braid. Finish with a 3-strand braid all the way down.
