Curl Your Hair in 2 Minutes

It’s nice to have luscious curls on the daily, but sometimes finding the time can be challenging. It’s also great to have an alternative if you just want an easier way to style your locks. If you’re pressed for time, and yet really want some nice waves – then this tutorial is for you!

Tools:

Steps:

  • Always begin by brushing your hair thoroughly using your Leyla Milani Hair ‘Miracle Brush’ to ensure there are no tangles. Split your hair into 4 vertical sections around your head. Working with the first section of your hair, wrap your hair around the 1 inch barrel of your Leyla Milani Hair “Triple Threat Interchangeable Curling Iron, hold for 15-20 seconds and then release the wave into your palm for an additional 5 seconds (this sets the wave!). Working with the remaining sections of hair, repeat this process, curling the hair away from your face. Then once each section is curled, go in with your hands and lightly tousle through. Note: the key to this tutorial is using a larger barrel and more hair, while holding the curl slightly longer under the heat of the iron.
  • If you are using your hair extensions for this look (recommended!), you’re now going to repeat this curling process for each weft (before securing them to your head). Let each weft set for about 30 seconds before tousling with your fingers to soften. Now clip in your hair extensions and again, tousle through your hair with your fingers to smooth out the look. For added volume, sprinkle some of your Leyla Milani Hair “Big Hair Don’t Care Volume Boosting Powder” onto your roots and scrunch through with your fingers.

Note: Curling the hair extensions will take an additional 2 minutes if you use them, so this look in total would be complete within 5 minutes! Happy Styling!
