Soft Twist-Wrap Bun

This elegant look is perfect for an evening out and takes only minutes to create! It’s a soft and wispy take on the classic bun, with a few stylish twists. Here’s how to get it!

You’ll Need:

• ‘No H20’ Dry Shampoo
• Miracle Brush
• Big Tease Comb
• Hair elastic
• Bobby pins
• ‘Hold it Right There’ Hairspray

Steps:

• Beginning with dry hair, brush out any tangles using your Leyla Milani Hair ‘Miracle Brush’. Next, give yourself a coating throughout of ‘No H20’ Dry Shampoo to provide workable texture and volume for this look. Smooth out the top of your head gently with a fine-toothed combed. Separate your hair into 3 sections – dividing your hair at the ear bringing two sections forward and one backward. Create a ponytail with the back section of hair, pulling half through and then bunching it up. Keep pulling your hair tight then wrap it around another 2 times. You’ll have a tight knot here that will allow you to pull some hair loose for a wispy look. Secure any falling strands with bobby pins.
• Now starting with one section at the front of your head you’re going to divide this into two further sections begin twisting one over the other in a criss-cross effect. Keep adding hair from the back until all hair from this section is incorporated and then you’re going to complete the twist in a clockwise motion, securing with a hair tie at the bottom. Repeat this process on the opposite side. Now you’re going to pull some hair out of each twist beginning at the top, creating a more voluminous look. This can be over-exaggerated until you get the size that you want.
• Starting with either section of hair, pull them both to the back of your bun, wrapping it around and pinning in place. Keep adding bobby pins until it feels secure. Coat your hair with a light coating of hairspray once finished and you’re done!
